I had a lovely stay! The rooms were spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I especially enjoyed the continental breakfast, the croissants were a highlight. The view from my room was absolutely stunning
Love Love Love..one of the best places I have stayed in. I have already planned my next stay with my family there. View from the porch is amazing.. can sit there all day. Clean, spacious, beautiful room and amazing service and close to all attractions! Most pet friendly place.. Highly recommend!!
Well wine and cider tasting got the best of us so we had to find somewhere to stay an extra night on what was supposed to be a 2 night Mendocino trip. What a nice problem to have… Seafoam Lodge is just incredible. The nice couple who runs the place was very accommodating, even to our two dogs. I can’t recommend this place enough and I’m so grateful we found it, we will definitely be back. We had a lovely time watching and listening to the storms roll in from the ocean last night and this morning from bed. What a charming place. Edit to add details you may be looking for: very clean and safe, comfortable bed, table and chairs inside and outside, dog waste pick up stations, large property to walk on, coffee maker in room, AC/heat inside, black out curtains, easy to find at night.
The room was very spacious and, most importantly, extremely clean. The property is very quiet, which made it perfect for rest and relaxation. The continental breakfast included fresh bread and good coffee, which was a nice bonus. For the price, this place is truly a 10 out of 10. It’s only about a 7-minute drive from Mendocino, but honestly, it’s also an excellent option just to stay in, sit on the deck with an ocean view, read a book, disconnect from routine, and escape the city. One thing that pleasantly surprised me is that all rooms have an ocean view. I initially thought only some rooms would, given the price, but every room faces the sea. That alone makes this place a great value. They allow pets. Pd. The Owners are one of the sweetest couples I have met!
What a perfect, beautiful place to stay. This was my first visit to the area, and from the moment of arrival it was good vibes. The host was outside, he was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were so clean and the view from my room was amazing. They had coffee, tea, cookies, muffins, fruit for the mornings. I look forward to coming back soon and will definitely stay here. The cleaning service does a wonderful job keeping the rooms clean. I would highly recommend staying here…. And book through their website directly if you can.
We loved everything about Seafoam Lodge. Every room has an ocean view and a quaint little porch that’s perfect for sitting outside and soaking it all in. Our room was impeccably clean, cozy, and beautifully styled. Think log cabin meets beach house. Our two small dogs were warmly welcomed by the owners, Heidi and Dan, with the sweetest care package! It was also lovely to see other dogs around. Very relaxed, very chill. In the morning, when you step out for the complimentary continental breakfast at the office, you’re treated to the opposite view: towering Mendocino trees and lush forest. It truly feels like 360-degree beauty. You can enjoy breakfast by the fire pit, relax in the office, or bring everything back to your room. Heidi also bakes fresh goodies and leaves them out during the day, along with coffee and tea, for a quick (and free) snack. It’s honestly the cutest touch. Between the thoughtful perks and the price, this place can’t be beat. We’re already talking about coming back next year and bringing more of our family.
First off, the manager Heidi was so kind and patient, and after a very long day and drive it was a sigh of relief. The views of the ocean are breath-taking. The room is immaculate, the property stunning. Will be planning MANY trips back and I can't wait to stay again.
Nice room with a very comfortable bed, nice sofa & live edge coffee table facing the view - a expansive lawn with a few distant trees silhouetted by the ocean view. Our room also has 2 comfy chairs & a table inside, along with 2 Adirondack chairs, plus a bistro table & 2 chairs on the deck overlooking the ocean view. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the included continental breakfast was enjoyable. We will be back!
